  • To promote and provide opportunities for vocal harmony activities for its members and potential members such as, but not limited to
  • Quartetting
  • Vocal crafts and techniques
  • Coaching
  • Chorus singing
  • Competitive preparation and participation.
  • To provide public appreciation of barbershop harmony through public and charitable performances.
  • To promote good fellowship and camaraderie among its Membership.
  • To foster and enhance the ideals and principles of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

EVERY CHORUS MEMBER WILL:
  • Make a realistic assessment of their capabilities, needs and wants

EVERY CHORUS MEMBER WILL:
  • Be responsible and answerable for their actions
  • Notify music team in advance of absences
  • Make appropriate corrections after taping or choreography critique
  • Ask for help: musical, movement, anything else
  • Be prepared: music, movement, …

Supportiveness

EVERY CHORUS MEMBER WILL:
  • Encourage and appreciate active participation with positive reinforcement
  • Fully concentrate on whoever has the floor, in both singing and nonsinging situations
  • Participate in the mentor/buddy system with new members
  • Join and participate in committees
  • Meet all chorus membership commitments

Excellence
